As my friend Basile Magictuts thinks that only because its his birthday today so everyone is looking on his Timeline (arogant prick!) Ill make the work for him (as an original martyr) HERE IS THE PERSONAL RUNDOWN OF TAG TEAM UK vs TAG TEAM EU (written by Basile) Greetings each and eveyrone ... from i hear a lot of different things in here i will come with my version of the story about last UK vs EURO dubplates shoot out in london ... First of all big up Nuts on your earthstrong i wish we could do that every week-end lol that was mad ... also large respect for putting up this great show and supporting the soudclash business in UK ! Manners to Selecta Hype for the proper hosting of the clash. Also big up Hype TV and Kammy Kartel for all the lovely pix from that memorable night. I will try to stay unbias for the nexx statements lol ... but this is still my view on that night : Let me start with the bad part of the story, and there is only one imo : the poor attendance in the venue ... cmon london u dont hav the opportunity to witness party like that every week-end and the majority of the uk sound addicts just never left their home ... waiting for updates and audios ... that was the only real bad point i reckon .... let me also big up the people who still did the move last sat in london i think each and everyone who reach the venue had a great time and the show given by the 6 sounds was on point so unu people who didnt mek the move you def missed a great clash night ... that beeing said i will give u my personal rundown on each sounds... Magic tuts we play good overall and i am happy and satisfied with our perf ... sanka longtime mi no play with you but the combination worked well big up yourself mi general .... we were the first sound to play at 00h30 and we didnt manage to enter the clash hard enough imo ... we dealt with the first round with an easy attitude and we didnt put on our war boot from start (Natural affair did notice that and immediately made a speach about we are in a war and no juggling dance) ... after that we came back in a warish mood and throw a couple of speeches that did connect (particularly against NA) Last round was good too ... we still managed to connek with the few people left ... playing our tunes and adressing some issues NA play second, they start the war str8 ! Big up for that real war sound ! ... that was the best move to mek and people gave dem a good response for that ... they play loads of tarrus (maybe to start sumting with magash) love the way NA cut tunes MAD ... after that second round was maybe not as great as the first and squidly never really manage to reply to MT talk (but this is maybe my bias part taking over lol). Big up squidly and junior P anyway cause mi went hard pon them and at the end of the dance everybody was shaking hands and cracking jokes together ... real sportsman attitude from every sound ! Big man ting ! Foundation had a great moment in first round too ... the chronixx did connek wikkid maybe the biggest forward of the night ... and they left a very good impression ... after that they kinda pop down for the rest of the clash and the uk artist segment (tippa irie, general levy, etc) never really connected like it was expected ... still Foundation is the only sound who didnt playback no tune from night (with MT) and also their segment was really different and original ... these guys know music fi real ! Platinum Kartel wow that was nothing to compare with last week perf ... PK was out and bad truss mi ... big up chalice cause imo he was the most consistent sound that night ... 3 wikkid rounds, responding to everyone who called his name with class and talk ... maybe PK cannot play 40 shabba or 50 vado but chalice know how to deal with reggae music and play his box very smart ! UK people hav been warned PK is back ! Magash played really good overall too ... consistent ... they played the tunes that uk people were waiting for and it did connect ... first round of magash was the best round of the night ... they came in wikkid and i wouldnt say that they pop down for the rest but when u start wikkid like this you still hav to do more wikkid for the nex round and they didnt manage to keep this pace .... also they jumped up on stage last minute end f the dance to response to marlon and his argumenst but never really get the chance to do it in a proper way . .... i really wish that dance coulda go on for one more hour lol .... magash is a bad sound and now uk knows it ! Music master ... first round was weak ... captain D big up yourself but when you reach this kinda dance and u know you will play less than 30min in the whole dance ... you dont come fi exercise lol .... marlon finally reach the venue and he was on fire for the second round ... he woke up the place and get nuff forward ... well we (the rest of the sounds) managed to keep the dance clean and didnt throw too much badwords during that night ... when marlon reached it was done lol ... the man was literally insulting magash during 10min loool ... lord that was hard but really entertaining sameway ... it was a weird move tho cause at this point marlon knew that magash would never had the chance to response (due to club closing soon) .... magash finally manage to go back on stage for a couple of tune ... but i dont think marlon had a chance to play a 3rd round (correct me if i am wrong) ... but i would def let marlon and magash fight one more hour that would have been epic ! Marlon the rudeboy attitude was mad ... music master a real war sound ! Thats all i can say about the dance now ... i tried to be unbias as much as i can ... if you still ask me who won the dance i would definately pick up Platinum Kartel from team UK and Magash from team EURO ... teamwise i will keep my opinion for myself lol ... bless up
