As of 3:00 AM July 16, 2014 - Manila Bay Weather Update: Category 3 Typhoon Rammasun is now affecting Manila bay terribly. Its starting to rain strongly and lightning can be seen here in Manila Bay Coastal Areas, the wind picking up stronger approx. up to 50 knots or more. Watch out on your windows that might break anytime due to this strong wind blowing in the Metro. Waves slamming the sea wall that might result early storm surges. Search lights are being switched on from motor yachts and sailboats to ensure that their anchorage are holding well and can easily see the storm surges outside their break water in Manila Yacht Club Basin. Strong winds almost knock down trees and plants in CCP Complex and nearby areas. Its also zero visibility in the areas in the bay. The weather we are experiencing right now is really scary.
