As of 5/22/2013, Clint Eastwood has signed on to direct the Jersey Boys movie. As of 6/13, Clint is looking to shy away from movie stars and do the casting from actors in the stage productions around the world. Shooting to start this summer in L.A. . Good news for fans of the production. With Eastwood doing the directing, it will likely be a gangster movie with music in the background and that would be more true to the real story.
