As opening for SCPs A Chorus Line rapidly approaches (like TOMORROW!), reality is finally setting in. For those who HAVENT heard the story.... The Tuesday before rehearsals started in September, we lost my grandmother to lung cancer (Id been living with her since last year, and had been helping take care of her since her health started declining). I signed on with the show three days after she passed, as a way to cope with the fact that I would be rapidly faced with an empty house as family went their separate ways after her memorial service. As the show opens, Im faced with one door closing and a new door opening for me in my life, as I move out of the house and in with some amazing friends Ive made through my theatrical adventures. So, needless to say What I Did For Love really hits home for me on a personal level. Kiss today goodbye, and point me toward tomorrow....indeed. I guess people AND shows come into our lives for a reason. #whatididforlove #acl2014
