As salaamu ahlaykum Beloved Sisters and Brothers! In the purported words of Solomon, we read in the Bible With or (In) all thine getting, get understanding O my people, you have zeal for God,but is not according to knowledge. (Romans) Substantive Excerpt from Wikipedia ʾInjīl, alternate spelling: Ingil ) is the Arabic name for what Muslims believe to be the original Gospel of Jesus (Isa). This Injil is one of the four Islamic holy books the Quran records as revealed by God, the others being the Zabur (possibly the Psalms), the Tawrat (the Torah), and the Quran. The word Injil is derived from the Greek word Εὐαγγέλιον (euangelion)[1] or in Aramaic ܐܘܢܓܠܝܘܢ (awongaleeyoon)[2] which means good news (Old English gōdspel; the term injil is also used by Christian Arabs for their gospels; e.g. Gospel of John, (Arabic: إنجيل يوحنا ʾInǧīl Yūḥannā) as well as Indonesian Christians; e.g. Injil Yohanes). Muslims believe this original Gospel to have been altered over time, and the teachings of Jesus lost and replaced with false teachings, often believed to be at the instigation of Paul the Apostle. Muslims believe that the four canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and lost Gospels, such as that of Peter, contain fragments of Jesus message, but that the majority of the original teaching has been altered or lost. Although many Western scholars[who?] believe that the Injil, in Muslim belief, was a scripture authored by Jesus, the author of the Injil was (in Muslim belief) ultimately God, in a manner similar to the way the Quran was revealed to Muhammad: that God inspired Jesus with the verbatim words of the text which were then written by Jesus hand.[3] Muslims believe that Jesus, who had memorized the revelation, then taught it to all his disciples (al-Hawāriyūn). In the Quran The word Injil occurs twelve times in the Quran and refers to the book given to Jesus. Muslim scholars[who?] generally agree that Injil refers to the true Gospel, bestowed upon Jesus by God. The word Injil is used in the Quran, the Hadith and early Muslim documents to refer specifically to the revelations made by God to Jesus. Muslims reject that Jesus or any other person wrote the Injil, instead crediting its authorship to God. Many Muslim scholars believe that the Gospel has undergone alteration, that the words and the meaning of the words have been distorted, with some passages suppressed and others added. The Islamic principle of the oneness (Tawhid) and wholeness of Gods divinity means that in their view it is impossible for Jesus to be God incarnate or the Son of God, and that the worship of Jesus by Christians is due to later additions. The Quran says of the Gospel: And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah. —Quran, sura 5 (Al-Maida), ayah 46[4] The Quran further describes the followers of the Gospel, that is the Christians, in a highly positive allegory, saying: Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the (Torah) Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. The Qur’aan, 48:29* Pangrams by the Creator? - Siddeeq Jihad What is a pangram? Pangrams, are sentences using every letter of a given alphabet at least once. This verse: The Qur’aan, 48:29 contains, as the Creator ordained it, all 29 of the Arabic Alphabet letters. I noticed that the letter Qaf, ق which is the first letter of Qur’aan appears only once in the verse. A few years ago, I was verifying that all of the letters were in the verse, 48:29, while looking a t a lightly printed Qur’aan , when I observed that the word, سُوقِهِ SUU-QE-HE.- its own stem. I then noticed that the letter Qaf, ق, which is the first letter of the word, Qur’aan appears only once in the verse. Verse 3:154 of the Qur’aan also has all 29 of the Arabic Alphabet letters. I learned this from the book, The Word by Said Nursi, a highly regarded Muslim Turk. After learning of this from this book, A brother told me of verse, 48:29 during my travels as I was sharing that I had learned of 3:154. Al-homdu-lilaa. (All Praise to God) This is so wonderful and exhilarating to me to know that the Quraan is direct communication in revealed language to the whole of Humanity. If you think the contents of this impromptu post is significant, please share it! Should the Muslims and all readers of this conclude that these are pangram verses from the Creator? Did Prophet Muhammad plan at whim or did The Almighty Creator ordain it? Can you do one coherent substantive sentence or series of coherent sentences with all of the Arabic or English Alphabet or the alphabet of any language? Do you think any messenger sent by the Almighty would contemplate/deliberate and come up with verses of scripture that included all letters of his language? “A or (The) quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.”, is often used in English typing classes. The aforementioned sentence has all 26 of the English letters . This sentence was reportedly coined in 1885. Some say 1888. I saw an Arabic poem by a poet, Al-Farahidi which is a pangram. I don’t think I would take the time to coin a pangram. . However, It is fascinating to me to find out from Wikipedia that many if not all of the written languages have pangrams (see Wikipedia) Thank you for your indulgence! May The Lord Creator improve all of our lives and grant us the paradise upon our exit from this life! Aa-meen
