As some of you know, we will finally be restarting our float fly, with in the next several months (June 14th). We havent had one of these for about six years. This one will of course be different, from previous years. The first change will be location. Our flight area will be at Sparton Rd, and Hess Farm Rd. The other big change will be, the fly will be strictly electric. It was the only way the park service would allow us to fly. This event will be a sanctioned event, and will be only 2.4ghz. At this point in time, we still have some preparation to do. A email was sent to the Prop Busters Club, advertisement needs to be placed, and a AMA insurance certificate, has to be sent. All which is in the process. The other thing I need everyones input, is what to call it? Previous ones, have been know as the Clifford Daniels Memorial Float Fly. This was in honor of one of our past members, who helped get us established, with the park service. The other name that I was thinking of was E-wings Over Lake Redman. Let me know your thoughts on this. Hopefully we can nail that down, so we can get a flyer out for the Lebanon Flea Market.
