As the law and order situation comes back to normalcy, the district administration extends sincere thanks to all the law abiding citizens for their patience and cooperation during last few days of tensed law and order situation, especially to the agitating students who understood the demand of the situation and decided to go for a peaceful solution. Hope that the students will understand the stand of the district administration during such situations. Sincere thanks to all the Executive Magistrates, Police Officers, the team of all the police/IRB/SAP personnel for their patience, courage, hard work and mature response to the situation despite of attacks and injury caused to their team mates especially yesterday. Heartfelt apology to all those innocent people who were caught in the situation and were either beaten by police force due to mistaken identity or got injured during stampede/tear gas shelling. Sincere thanks to all the local residents, media persons and police personnel who saved the life of the DC, East on 15th July, putting their own life at risk. Heartfelt gratitude to all the people who understood the stand of the district administration and extended their direct/indirect support and cooperation. Above all we are really grateful to all the political leaders who intervened to resolve the situation.
