As the recent floods have left devastation within the valley, many people have decided to rebuild their properties. Our job, Kashmir Valleys job is to give people tips on how to construct their house safely. So far we have given many tips. Todays tip is about, French pipes. French pipes are normal long pipes, with small holes. These pipes are placed around the house, so that the underground water, doesnt make its way to the buildings structure and weaken it. The potential water could be fatal to the houses base, and possibly make it collapse: main cause of building collapse. So we place pipes around the house, the water flows down these pipes, and possibly lead into a drain, or elsewhere. Below is a simple and short video on how to install french pipes
