As this meme puts it, the battle with animal rights is not a fair one. Those they target lose money defending themselves whereas the movement is very well-funded and makes money whenever they campaign. It is an asymmetrical fight. Animal Welfare is the most rational, reasonable and productive way forward for a society. This shouldnt be used a simple by-word to falsely reassure the general public, but a genuine commitment to improved conditions for non-human animals. Humans are interdependent on animals and always have been.
