As today is September 11, I want to hold you and all of humanity in a place of peace. As we look back thirteen years to the day that changed so many lives, it is important to me to take a moment to honor and remember all those who were and have been affected by such a tragic event. And yet, in the wake of 9/11 we all, in many ways, have reclaimed a unified sense of empowerment, strength and unity. I know that today we face unrest and conflict in so many parts of the world, and that it is easy to feel uncomfortable and afraid of where things are headed. I want to ask that as you read this, take a deep breath and focus your energy and attention on goodness and gratitude...sending thoughts and energy out into the world that will unify us in a movement of peace, harmony, love and acceptance. While I know I sound a little woo-woo, I believe that our collective focus on peaceful communication and problem solving, in our everyday lives, is the best way that we can begin to make a long term sustainable difference. #neverforget #peaceandlove
