As we approach Thanksgiving this week, I want to say how thankful I am to have had the joy of living with Hank. Im thankful that we decided to keep him while fostering, and Im thankful for the many memories I have of him, both public and private. He was - and still is, and always will be - my hero. It might sound crazy to try to live up to the standards of a kitty cat, but I do try my hardest to live by what Hank believed in. Take a moment this holiday to tell your fur friends how thankful you are for them; toss them an extra tasty piece of turkey or cheese, give them a good scritching, or a kiss on the head. They teach us so much without ever uttering a single word, and we would do well as a species to listen to what they have to say. Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and thanks for continuing to follow Hank!
