As we are well into January 2015, I’d like to thank everyone for reading my Cemetery Traveler blog! Its been another interesting year (I’ve been writing this weekly blog since 2010) and I’d like to call your attention to the final posts of December, 2014. Please check them out as we visit with photographer Walker Evans, musician David Bromberg, and General George G. Meade (his birthday was New Years’ Eve) commander of the Union Army at the Battle of Gettysburg. Geographically, we were all over, from Wilmington, Delaware to Xmas in Bethlehem – my friend Jonathan Klein even favored us with a startling account of his visit to some abandoned Jewish cemeteries in Poland (“Blood Washes Away; Bullet Holes Do Not …” is not for the faint of heart).
