As we know Ebola has become a political issue just like everything else in America these contentious days. The right blames Obama for every theoretical slight they experience in modern life so why should Ebola be any different? He sent 3,000 soldiers to West Africa to build hospitals and infrastructure to fight the epidemic but what do the wailers cry? Oh, they might get Ebola. Of course when you fight a disease it is possible to contract it especially if it is as contagious as Ebola. In the past there were the same scares about polio and TB but we managed to defeat those diseases and prevented world wide epidemics. Now it appears a second Dallas health care worker has contracted Ebola. I seem to recall when Duncan was first sent to Texas Rick Perry took credit for the excellent health care there. I wonder if he will take responsibility for the seeming negligence of the hospital that caused the transmission of the disease? I will tune into FoxWorld to see if they mention this.
