As we prepare for the 2015 Lending Hearts Gala, some very special friends of Lending Hearts came together to host “Cocktails & Kindness.” Regis and Helene McQuaide, owners of Pittsburgh’s premier design/build firm, Master Remodelers, opened their home to guests who came to support and learn more about Lending Hearts. Joining Regis and Helene in hosting were Mr. & Mrs. Tom and Taura Taucher, both of PNC Bank, Dr. Hank Safferstein, of Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhousee , and his wife, Karen Peterson, of Bristol Meyers Squibbbb. A 1960’s Mad Men theme was created for the evening. To carry that theme through to the food and drink was the creative force of Rania Harris of Ranias Catering. Classic Martinis, manhattans, grilled cheese triangles, tomato soup shooters, pigs in the blanket and so much more made for a beautiful evening of guests lending their hearts to the upcoming gala and all of our efforts. We are very thankful for the great generosity and support of our hosting couples, Rania Harris, All Occasions, Lendable Linens and all of our guests for making a truly special evening.
