FORGIVE US - Sen. Enrile Isang dasal ang inusal kahapon ni Senate minority leader Juan Ponce Enrile sa pagbubukas ng sesyon ng Senado kahapon makaraan ang halos isang buwang bakasyon. “Forgive us if, in moments of strong emotion, we have blamed others for our inability to lend complete relief to those who are suffering,” bahagi ng panalangin ni Enrile. “Forgive us if, in moments of blind hubris, we became quick to impute malice on the action of others,” pagpapatuloy nito. Espisipikong inalay ni Enrile ang panalangin sa biktima ng monster storm na ‘Yolanda’. “Strengthen our faith that we may overcome and be born again into a new world wiser and more humane to the need of others,” bahagi pa ng panalangin ng lider ng minorya.
