We have a fair few thankyous to make... Firstly, our event sponsors - Browns Pie Shop and Pets at Home, we really couldnt have organised this event without you - now that were opening our doors to more animals, we have to think of ways to cut costs and make events as successful as they possibly can be, your sponsorship did just that. Our class sponsors - Vippies and TFM Country Store, and Happy Tails who sponsored Best in Show - again, we cannot do these kind of events without you. To our three main judges, Tee from Pets at Home, Allison from Guide dogs and our very own Chris - you did a splendid job! To Nikki from TFM, Jade from VIPPIES and Becci from Happy Tails for co-judging - you too were fantastic! To Nicola for braving the weather with her trusted volunteer to put on a fantastic Zumba display in the middle of a downpour - thank you for braving it and putting it on! To Sally for our wonderful catering! Next, to our wonderful team of volunteers who helped throughout the day - John, our Tombola man; Jo, Steve, Charlotte M, Kerry, Lydia and Will - our car park stewards who made life so much easier for us; our stall stewards Sarah, Jackie, Katie, Kate, Dai and Lucy (who spent her day surrounded by cuddly toys!); our registration desk stewards, Sylvia, Kathyrn (also Missy handling - our lovely lurcher!), Catherine and Charlotte (who also ran around for us and part in Catch the Sausage - not to catch them, but to throw them!); our Microchipping team, Sandra, Sue, and Nikki (who also ran around for us throughout the day!); Allison, Georgia, Louise, Steve, Natalie H, Dawn and Bryony - for being generally helpful all day helping answer peoples questions and collecting donations; to Lisa, who assisted us in setting up early on, and Louise who organised the certificates and prizes for the winners with Lisa; Alex for being another runner, collector and car steward - a little bit of everything; to Debs and Dan for dog handling; and last but not least, Arron and Penny, who spent their day being Mickey and Minnie - a particularly difficult task when it was so hot! To Andy at WAVE disco for our music and entertainment - which kept us going even in the rain! To Newark Dog Training Club and their beautiful dogs for the amazing Agility and Flyball displays! To Happy Tails for the fabulous Flyball game! Special thanks to Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs and Woofers RnR for coming with their beauties. To our sack race teams - TEAM PUPPY with Martyn, Chris and Arron (who won!), TEAM KITTY with Alex, Natalie and Sarah, TEAM FROG(!) with Kathryn, Michael and Penny and TEAM BUNNY with Guy, myself & Charlotte.. And thank you for taking part in the YMCA dance too ;-) A huge thank you to our stall holders, who all had something exciting on offer and everyone who came to the event with their families and dogs - it was a particularly dire start but the sun came out eventually :) To Jasper, Missy and Lucy for coming out on day release :) And finally, to all the wonderful dogs who attended!
