As we roll into Memorial Day weekend we wanted to let you know about an exciting photo contest being conducted by Honor Our Soldiers. The contest will provide the opportunity for photography enthusiasts to explore places and moments of reflection and celebration dedicated to our nation’s servicemen and women. Honor Our Soldiers is a national grassroots campaign, sponsored by the Civil War Trust, to create awareness for the many historical sites, where American soldiers have fought and died. Many of these sites are now at risk of being lost beneath a bulldozer’s blade, and the nation could lose these sacred fields of honor forever.
