As we went to pay our rent a center payment yesterday there was a clearly homeless man standing outside and dusty gave him 2 bucks and he said thank u and started walking away...i had an extra breakfast burrito left so I caught up to him and gave it to him..he smiled and opened it and said thank u so much. Then a minute later when I was waiting in the car for dusty a man knocked on my window so I opened my door and he asked if I gave him my burrito and I said yeah he needed it more than me. The man reached in his pocket, pulled out his wallet and gave me 4 bucks and said that was the nicest thing I have ever seen anybody do... Needless to say, that was the best part of my day. No, I didnt find a home yet after looking all day, but I have faith, so I know our time will come.. :)
