As you know, when we lost the beautiful Taba Dance in February that opened a stall at Our Mims Retirement Haven. For the first time in years, we do not know who shall be arriving next. Our waiting list is years old. Many of the mares on the list have already passed on. We have received no response from the contacts of several mares; perhaps there has been an email change. Perhaps the mare has been placed elsewhere. We have no way of knowing. At any rate, we need your help. This process is taking a great deal of time and we would like to expedite matters. Consider this an ALL CALL. If you have a mare on our list or know of a mare on our list, please contact us with your new contact information. We will compare your info with our list and take the mare that has been waiting the longest. We would like to have the matter settled by March 31. Reminder: Our Mims Retirement Haven is a sanctuary for older (over 20 years old) Thoroughbred mares. While we have considered other horses in the past, we are looking to add another Lady who is an older (over 20 years old) Thoroughbred mare. “Specializing in restoring health and spirit in aged (Thoroughbred) mares.”
