As you know yesterday was an pretty incredible day. I grew up watching Double Dare like most of you and couldnt believe that I was getting a chance to live it out with my little buddy by my side and Kristi, Kyleigh, and Easton sitting in the front row cheering us on. A couple of key points both funny and true 1. The pants they gave me were the only pair that were miss matching color and HIGHWATERS. Fortunately Im use to that and rocked them on stage with my shirt tucked in. 2. I knew a couple of answers but the only one I answered out loud for my team I got wrong. Lol! 3. My favorite part was watching Jacob slide down the gum ball machine, grab the flag, and pass it to me ;-) 4. I look really cheesy doing the dance in front of the popcorn right before our obstacle challenge, but thats what they told me to do and I went with it. Jacob knocked his out the park though. 5. I was a bit nervous and so was Jacob also but he didnt admit it. He handled it well though. 6. It happened pretty fast, I didnt get to soak it in like I would of wanted to, but we had fun with it, and lived it up! 7. It wasnt televised, but it was done very proffesional and you felt like you were on TV with a studio audience. 8. No Nick Hansen, Mark Shmmers was not there, it would of been cool if he was though! I had a generational moment and realized I was probably 10 years older than the host :-( 9. We had to tell a slight lie to get Jacob on the show, we told them he was 8. Jacob lied very well, lol! 10. You only get to live once folks, I just try and do the best I can while I can and live it up. I can say I never have just been the type to let it just pass me by. Dang it is going by too fast though, I often wish I could just freeze us in time.
