As you might have noticed, I havent been active on Facebook much for about over a month. That was due to the fact that my dear brother Gerard had been very ill as a result of the terminal stage of lung cancer. It was my choice to leave my hometown of The Hague to nurse and take care of my dear brother for about he past 5 weeks intensively, mainly at his house in Zoetermeer, but also partially in my own home here in The Hague. In the early morning of October 1st at about 1,45, Gerard peacefully changed this Earthly place for somewhere else, surrounded by the love of almost our entire family or which I am very grateful. Of course he has left a vacuum though, but he lives on in our hearts. The upcoming weeks will be consuming my time and that of my family by fighting bureaucracy as well as arranging things. Ill be back though here on Facebook as soon as possible. Here my special thanks goes out to my dear Facebook sis and kindred spirit Galina St George and my dear friend and kindred spirit Aileen ODay for their most supportive and encouraging emails. The pokes from mainly my dear friends Rhiannon Skye Walker and Shahid Parwez as well as the lovely and most caring PM from Joy Dargent Zucker have also supported me through this heavy times. Me sincere thanks also go tho those who have thought of both me and my brother in their mentions in their posts, either on their own as well as on my timeline. Gerards cremation will be held upcoming Monday around non here (GMT +1). At the least I will be very busy offline until after that. Thank you all ever so much for your warm support, comforting thoughts and warm wishes and prayers so far. As Gerard was rather a loner with not much luck in life, I would like to share this song with you I have personally selected to have played at his cremation on Monday. Love yall!
