Ashliegh Sphyre asked I have a three year old Dane recently diagnosed with ACL issues. It hasnt broken yet but its torn a little. My last dog and my parents dog - neither of which are Danes - both had ACL problems and they never fully recovered. The biggest problem is that I live in a small studio apartment. Before he started limping we would go for a hike daily and he would sleep most of the day. Now hes on bed rest and getting a little rowdy. The worst part is that he has started barking when I leave, even if its just to take the trash out. We still have two and a half more weeks of restricted movement and Im not even three months into a year long lease. Im worried about how this situation will play out. Is it likely hes going to recover or am I looking at this becoming the new normal? I dont know that my neighbors will like that much. I dont like it much myself. What am I supposed to do to help him?
