Asiad Games: Bronze Medallist Yadav Served As DYSP in Thane. THANE: Narsingh Pancham Yadav, who won a bronze in free style wrestling competition in ongoing Asian Games today, has worked in Thane district rural police force. Yadav served as a probationary DYSP in the district police, a release said today. Yadav, born in Mumbai, had a keen interest in wrestling from his young age and he took his professional training from the Sports Academy of India, New Delhi. Yadavs father Pancham Yadav has a dairy business, the release said. Yadav bagged gold in 2010 commonwealth games in Delhi. He was appointed as DYSP by the state government in recognition of his achievements as a sportsperson. He completed his training in 2013 from the Maharashtra Police Academy and joined the Thane district rural police as DYSP in July 2014, it said.
