Asking $3500. Jarle is a 16 year old Norwegian Fjord gelding. He was originally trained as a Hippotherapy horse. Jarle was awarded the Barb Heine Award given by the American Hippotherapy association for 2004 Hippotherapy horse of the year! Jarle has worked successfully in our program for over 10 years. He is till solid and willing as ever but our program has changed. We currently have a therapeutic/recreational program with more advanced riders that are looking to travel and show. Jarle does very well in the ring and out on the trail but we have never had the opportunity to take him out to show. We have held shows and events at our farm and Jarle does well in a crowd. He would make a great trail horse or could be a great addition to a therapy program. Jarle is 13.1 hh but is very stocky build and can accommodate a larger rider. He rides, ground drive and lunges proficiently and is naturally slow and quiet. He works great alone or in a group. He clips, bathes and loads without any trouble. He is ver patient on crossties for all of his students. We are looking to place Jarle in a wonderful forever home.
