Asking for prayers tonight. A wonderful man has gone to be with the Lord tonight. Rev. Leslie Nabors fell this morning and has succumbed to his head injury. There is such excitement and peace in knowing that he spent his life serving the Lord and now he is with him, face to face. However, the ones of us still on this earth will miss him terribly. Please pray for his family, especially his three daughters; Debbie Wright, Terrie Nabors Tankesly and Vickie Nabors Reissig. They are all such Daddys girls! Brother Leslie was our pastor in Webb, MS at Webb-Sumner United Methodist Church for about 5 years. His daughter, Terrie and I became lifelong friends. He then moved to Oxford where he was pastor at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He was such a gentle man and when he smiled, you just felt warm all over; even his eyes smiled at you! The girls lost their mother several years ago to cancer and now they have to prepare to say goodbye to their dad. Please remember this family in your prayers the next few days. Thanks!
