Asking for your prayers again tonight for my Mama. Her hospital stay will be a bit longer than expected. In addition to the large stitched up gash on her leg, from the fall she has A-fib, low potassium & magnesium levels, a UTI, and learned also today she has a muscle breakdown of the tissue in her body, which can lead to kidney failure. They are treating this by lots of IV fluids to flush and return the levels to normal. She will remain in the hospital for 3-4 more days. The cardiologist believes the A-fib did not cause the fall probably from the UTI & muscle breakdown Her doctor is recommending rehab afterwards for necessary PT that will help her regain her strength. She wasnt happy to hear this today. . .and just a little while ago, my brother Sammy, was admitted to Chesapeake Regional with pneumonia. ( We arent telling Mama just now, only that he is sick). Needless to say, this is a difficult time We appreciate your thoughts and prayers!!
