Assalam-o-Alaikum, Qurbani is a sacrifice that is offered at the time of Eid al-Adha to show gratitude towards Allah and to provide for the less privileged of the society. The Prophet Muhammad was once asked by his Companions: "O Prophet of Allah! What is this Qurbani?" He replied, "It is the Sunnah of your father Ibrahim." (Hadith - Ibn Majah) Call for Rise Welfare Society (CFR) has been successfully executing the Qurbani Project since 2008 consecutively. This has been made possible only through your generous donations and support. Qurbani/Zabieha Project 2013 CFR intends to provide Qurbani/Zabeha services on donor’s behalf in absentia (to those who wish to avail) and/or distribution/and collection of sacrificed animal hides & meat. The meat will be distributed to: Flood affected families in regions of Punjab and KPK Orphanages Families covered under the Ramadan Project 2013 or at donor’s discretion to any other organization Execution: The Qurbani will be performed in Lahore, Pakistan on the first day of EID. Arrangements will be made for the donors to come and observe the Qurbani by themselves and they can collect their share of the Qurbani on the spot as well. Should you wish to offer the Qurbani yourself, you can contribute to CFR’s cause by donating your animal’s hides/or meat to CFR. Our representatives will come and collect the hides at your doorstep.
