Assistant Professor TTS - Institute of Clinical Psychology University of Karachi Qualification: PhD Degree in Clinical Psychology from an HEC recognized University / Post Graduate institution with 2 years supervised internship under Clinical psychologist only. (Note: for PhD Degree Holders from Pakistan the registrar must certify that the PhD thesis was evaluated by two foreign experts, in case foreign evaluation was not done then the candidate must provide evidence of two publications in journals recognized by the HEC. Application Procedure: i. Applicant forms are available in the office of the deputy Registrar (Establishment, teaching/non teaching) University of Karachi against payment of Rs. 500/- in the shape of pay order/ bank draft in favor of “University of Karachi”. ii. Candidates applying for the posts of professor/ Associate professor are required to submit a crossed postal order/bank draft of Rs. 3000/- The draft of Rs. 1500/- (The postal order/bank draft should be drawn in favor of the director, institute of clinical psychology, University of Karachi). iii. Six copies of applications on prescribed forms should be accompanied with attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, computerized national identify card, attested copies off recent photograph and reprints/ attested photocopies of publications. iv. Candidates applying under both the system (BPS/TTS) and various positions should submit separate applications along with complete documents and required postal order. Bank draft for each application. v. Acceptance letter for publication of a paper and provisional certificate of any examination passed will not be considered. The candidates applying for the posts of professor/ associate professor should also attach a separate list of papers/ articles (only published in Journals (local/foreign) recognized by the HEC, Pakistan) with signature. vi. Candidates already in service (government/semi-government autonomous bodies) should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificate issued by their present and former employers, otherwise their applications shall not be entertained. Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained. vii. The applicant should not be admissible to appear in test/ interview. viii. T.A./D.A will not be admissible to appear in test/ interview. ix. The number of posts shall be considered according to the available positions at the time of selection. the institute reserves the rights not to fill/withdraw any post/ withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason. x. Applications on prescribed forms must be submitted to the Office of The Director, Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi, 118, Block 20 Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi 75290, Pakistan on or before February 25, 2014.
