Asst.professors, are here to guide interns. The format followed in our profession is observation and learning. Asst.prof.are always eager and happy to train and educate interns. No Asst.professor has the intention to humiliate interns. We know the work of an intern and their practical difficulties. We understand ur.feelings.More u work and spend time in the ward, more u will carry for ur future since u r going to practice medicine throughout ur life. This is one of the very few professions where u r going to apply, whatever u learnt in future practice. As i already told, once u have completed internship and afer doing PG and all, u r answerable to the public when u start practice. Even when a pt. develops a rash, after a particular drug administration, i am sure u will be having sleepless stressful nights in the future.U will be alone there. Nobody willbe available nearby to help u in emergency situations. But at the same time Asst.Professors are not fools. We had a family, children and lot of worries and works, as your parents are having! We forget about all the practical difficulties, come here to guide u and make u learn. Actually we r responsible for any untoward incidents happening in the ward, not interns. We r also doing Convoy and Court duties apart from our regular work. We r facing enquiry regarding petitions of General public for want of any clarification reg.treatment as well as offences made against us. We r spending time, upto evenings apart from our regular 24 hr duty, when necessity arises.Nobody has jealous of ur hike in stipend. We are all happy and we r for, a still more hike in stipend. It is absurd to post Asst.professors as fools in FB.U r going to be the future Assts/Professors/HOD/Dean /DME.U will realize one day.Dont make surcastic comments about APs. U r like a freebird during your internship.Enjoy it ; இந்த நாட்கள் திரும்பக் கிடைக்காது.
