At 1:40 this afternoon I witnessed the most beautiful experience... Mom looked at me and her breathing became some labored her eyes opened for the first time in several days... It frightened me until I realized what was going on ... I sat at her side and asked her if she was leaving me and she spoke for the first time also in days... she very quietly said yes .. I asked if she was scared and she again replied softly no ... I told her I would hold her hand until the Lord took it ... I began to sing Blessed Assurance and then I told her that she would be going to be with Daddy & Lisa and she again opened her eyes and said I am, I am I continued to sing and tell her I loved her and James and I both felt her spirit leave and the presence of the Lord....It was an amazing moment and it was so peaceful, and filled with God .... She gently began to breath slowly and after a short time she stopped and her hand released from mine and I knew that she had taken Gods hand.....After I cried for only a minute James & I prayed ... Thanking God for his loving and kind mercy. Thank each of you for your love, prayers and support. She was a wonderful lady and even in death she was graceful and giving.
