At 3:00 this afternoon, the world got a little colder, is a bit darker, became more lonely, and has less love in it. At 3:00 this afternoon my mother lost her fight with pancreatic cancer. She won many battles along the way and in a way she actually did win the fight. She is able to rest and be at peace and is no longer suffering, so in my thoughts even though all of what I said in the beginning of this post is true, she has won as she is better off now.
