At 3:43 a.m. Texas time 21 years ago today I was sitting in the front seat of our Ford Thunderbird in the driveway of the hospital in front of the ER.After only riding a couple of blocks and only having 3 contractions I am watching the ER staff pull my 4th son out from my britches leg where he had landed after giving birth to him as we were pulling up to the hospital.The first time I got to hold him seemed like forever because he had to be rushed into the hospital due to the cold weather and that his cord was in a knot and shortly after being checked out they found out his blood was too thick to go through his veins so they had to do a partial blood transfusion and he was circumcised .... What a first 24 hrs of life......After a long roller coaster ride in life he had turned out to be an AMAZING father and husband......and I am proud of the man and son he has turned out to be.I LOVE you Mat...Happy 21st Birthday.
