At 9:49AM this morning, My whole word seemed to come crashing down. My Mom called me to let me know she had just gotten out of her Drs apt. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and her Dr said that her tumor is very aggressive. Her Dr also believes that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. She starts radiation & chemotherapy immediately. Since Im an atheist, Im not a praying woman, BUT my Mom IS, and she believes in the power of Prayer! So... Im asking all my friends & family who DO pray, to please hold her in your prayers. And to all my friends & family who dont pray, Please send positive vibes our way! I feel so completely helpless right now... and sad... and pissed off... but I know I have to keep a good attitude & be strong, for my mom & my girls. When I asked my mom if she wanted to keep this private, her response was Tell our friends & family, so they can watch me beat Cancers Ass... very aggressively! Thats My Mom for you.... Love her SO much!
