At a one week regional Tourism organization CTO workshop which opened here yesterday, Bonita Morgan director of CTO told stake holders that they have to understand what giving excellent service means. It’s about everyone being able to work in a service oriented environment; and seek to demonstrate that in words and deeds; when engaging with a customer. Morgan noted that we are failing in that regards. Shirley Nibbs facilitator of the work shop from Antigua and Barbuda in her address said that this frame work has 9 steps, focusing on the customers, the organization and its employees. Nibbs added, that this is critical if we are going to create that customer service excellent culture within our region. She said it’s going to help stake holders to develop advisory skills and approaches, an approach that is very critical in these turbulent business times.
