At its best, network marketing is about empowering women into leadership. My friend and colleague Johanna Hunt made the observation recently that sometimes we want the results of what a business like this can do but were afraid of not being good enough or being a good leader. If you ask me thats a pretty bang on statement. Its important to recognise that a huge way in which women lead naturally, is by making at least 80% of the purchasing decisions in households. Most people will acknowledge that being in a leadership position has helped them grow and be a better version of themselves, but when applying it to business/ network marketing, for some reason the thinking changes. I think its important to shift our collective mindset, and allow ourselves to get excited about becoming leaders and the personal growth that always follows change. I fully believe that network marketing has the power to lead change in our personal pocket books, communities and local economies; especially when we grow organizations that are aligned with our values. Thats what my Arbonne business has allowed me to do. I am a better leader, daughter, friend and partner today than I was when I started my business. Talk about an investment! Women are exceptional at sales because we present things with logic and compassion. Imagine large scale economies run on logic and compassion.
