At nights, when I couldnt sleep, I used to sit in the yard, smoking a cigarette, trying to relax. About two months ago a cat started to come to me every night. At first, I pushed her away from me, but she didnt give up and every night she came back, tried to get closer to me. After some time, I started trusting her and gradually let her get closer and closer to me. Today at nights that I cant sleep and go out to the yard, she is waiting for me, mewing and smiling to me. I sit and she is coming to me so gently, rubbing in me, purring and licking me. I let her do it, after a long time that I didnt. I have no reasonable explanation for why she came to me in first place, but I tried to find it meaning. I named the cat Tikva, because I see in her a symbol of hope. Hope is a stubborn lady, I must tell you. I tried to find that lady for so very long and I was sure I failed. Just when it seemed that I lost her, she found her way back to me, and I found my way back to her. Hope.
