At the age of 12, is where I discovered my true love for basketball, a real passion. While defining this love for the game I developed some great friendships along the way. To this day, these friendships remain. We formed a bond over our loves for the game; our loves for Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and the discipline of the sport. From learning the basics of shooting, dribbling, passing, defending & for some of us at 14 (dunking) lifelong memories were instilled in us. September 2010, we lost one of our brothers of the sport Ricky English, to a tragic, untimely death. On this day I stated that someday wed meet in heaven & myself, Ricky & Fabio would be balling together again, with Rick throwing alleys to Fab & I like we started at Damon Rutherford house almost 20years ago. That fab would have his white men can jump legs back & wed be balling with G.O.D! Today It saddens me dearly to say that Ricky & Fabio are together once again. But I am in tears of joy knowing that my man Fabio has his legs back. I know that Fab & Rick are up there balling their hearts out, I can feel it deep in my soul (because I know that there isnt know others way for you guys to do it) I miss you guys, but I know that you are watching over and protecting us from our everyday day encounters. As I proceed with life, It overwhelms me to know that you guys are holding a spot for the rest of us & one day well meet up again on the other side & laugh & enjoy life like we were 12 year olds once again.
