At the lab....Me ummmm, I am not good with needles just to let you know... Phlebotomist do you want the recliner? Me no,no thats ok, I should be fine... Phlebotomist ok this will be quick and painless Me (to myself...Ive heard that a thousand times) I manage to remain ummm neutral through the first 2 tubes....Me ummm I dont feel that good.... Phlebotomist are you ok?? Are you going to faint?????.... Me I dont..... Head goes down....pressure cuffs out.....Phlebotomist did you eat anything today? As she says this I puke on the floor... Me I point to the chicken salad now on the floor... Yes and its right there.... Colin you made my mommy throwed up!!! Ava ewwww! Kyle that was so cool mommy! Me I am so so so so sorry. I am so embarrassed!!! Phlebotomist dont worry happens all the time... Me to myself (yeah right....) 15 minutes later and 2 ice packs, 2 cups of water and a handful of candy....blood was successfully taken and my kids are on a sugar high....I should have opted for the reclining chair....
