At this very bittersweet moment, the commencement ceremonies for my younger brother, Christian Clark Carlson, are underway in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Chris, this is your big day, but as you already know, this is just the beginning as you come knocking on the door of graduate school right around the corner. But, for the time being, enjoy this very special day, embrace it and take it for what its worth and Im sure as your row stands, you start making that walk on up to that very stage, it starts to sink in, a tear or two fills the eye, your name will be called with all of your achievements and it hits you...you make the transition from student, to graduate, a graduate from one of the best universities in the Union, The University of Alabama, Crimson Tide! Though I am not there to witness this milestone with you, with family, with my very eyes, I want you to know you will be in my thoughts, and I will be with you in Spirit! Yall celebrate and have a cold one on me, and Ill be sure to have one waiting here for you when you make it back to San Antonio on Monday. Chris, congratulations, you did it! Bleed the Crimson Tide for Life!
