At times I simply come short with my own words, but when I ask the Holy Spirit to help, He never fails me. Yesterday, I witnessed just that. He allowed a conversation to take place between myself and a visitor to say things that wed otherwise never dare to say. He allowed the Spirit of truth to be said with compassion and love. Yes, He can cause titlewaves in our lives, He brings about earthquakes in order to rattle us awake. He awakens us from what WE want to what it is HE has willed for our lives. But He also builds bridges between people, opens doors and makes us one. I have learned that the Holy Spirit has the ability to transform the ordinary into extraordinary and He proves that you dont need degrees, you just need your heart to be in the right place. Like the biblical character David, He can make any person who once was weak, incredibly strong. He can make the impossible, possible. The Holy Spirit resolves problems between generations and He clears up murky water. With the Lord, any of us can walk in self- confidence. The Lord would never want any of us not serving him, regardless of age. From the very young to the elderly. He just needs us to allow Him to guide us as He changes our duties, and for us to allow others to fill those positions and to share in the serving. Thank GOD for a great ending to an incredibly hard day.
