At times of predicaments and grief, people psychologically look for powerful entities, and and when they find non or not enough, some throw the towel and others struggle and help themselves get over their problems. I believe life itself is a test, and people are made to suffer. When we fully realize that, we get more comfortable after having crises rather than expecting a mighty hero to pull us out. I think also as soon as a person faces a challenging situation, he should be critical and strategic, looking at possible ways out himself, and if need be, he should seek outside assistance rather than giving up or feel helpless.
