At times,one comes across some things that make his/her heart melt,an example is what i saw at d general hospital ikorodu today. Though id earlier read that stroke is no respecter of any age but ive never seen so young a person been knocked down by d deadly disease. I saw this very beautiful lady being gradually led by a man i suspected to be her husband,she struggled to take a step after another with her right leg nd hand paralysed. I wonder what could make a person probably in her 20s to be in that condition nd i moved closer to at least say hello since she could only mutter few words. My God! When i looked closely at her,i noticed she must have just been delivered of a baby. What really touched my heart was that a smile was permanently noticable on her face,i felt like carrying her on my back,like bringing her home nd take care of her,like following her home to run errands for her,like feeding her with my hands,like giving her hope,like telling her continously that i love her.... Though d husband was there with her,but looking at him,something told me he wont be there for long. This brings me to why im writing this. Think very well before u say YES,I DO bcos its a convenant that ull be there come rain,come sunshine. Before i left her with my wet eyes,i managed to tell her that her case wasnt a hopeless one,that she should do the medical dos nd abstain from its donts and that she should always be happy Then i told her i love her nd quickly left before she notice my heavy heart. MAY D MIGHTY GOD LAY HIS HEALING HANDS ON THIS FRIEND OF MINE. My heart still bleeds.
