At tonights Green Umbrella concert at the Disney Hall a series of strange events and odd misunderstandings led several people on two separate occasions to fall under the impression that I was a famous composer and conductor. People gathered around and I was asked for my professional opinions on certain works including the ones being premiered that night, questioned about my current projects, and I even autographed a ticket stub. Then my fans and I were asked to please leave the hall as they were trying to close, only to find three more people wanting to talk to me in the elevator. Theyre all going to be so disappointed when they try to Google me later. Ah, but it was nice to be famous for fifteen minutes.
