Atiku concedes defeat 2014-12-11 18:28 Lagos - Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has conceded defeat to former Head of State Muhammadu Buhari, reports NewsDay. Atiku in a statement issued by his media office immediately after the counting of the votes ended, said Buhari ran a spirited campaign and fully deserves the victory. He promised to work with the former Head of State to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is defeated in the 2015 elections. Also read : Nigeria election: Jonathan v. Muhammadu Buhari He noted that he would hand over is policy document to Buhari for his review and possible implementation.
