Attended the senior school awards night tonight at SLC. What a great evening. During the evening I reflected upon the achievements of all 3 of my boys. Chris who for the last couple of years has embraced his passion for crossfit and the healthy life it stands for. He now continues his journey to Canada and a job in whistler. Following the Wood family tradition of work and travel. I know he will enjoy this part of his life and give it his all. Sam who I shed tears for tonight because I missed this part of his school life. Through ill health I was in hospital for his awards night and graduation. To this day I cry over this lost part of his and my life. But in December I will be the proudest mum at his graduation from Uni. Something he has achieved through hard work along with a job and cycling career. This weekend he again will show his stuff at the Noosa crit on Saturday. Last but not least my Tom. My baby. He struggles every day to give his all at school. He has never changed from the sweet child he has always been. This has been his year. I thank his tutors who have worked hard to keep him on track without doing the work for him. Tonight he received 2 awards. His payment for all his hard work. 1 year to go till year 12 graduation so who know what 2015 will bring as he continues to grow into manhood. What can I say I love my boys.
