Attention Screenwriters! Rochester Movie Makers is now accepting submissions for this year’s Script-A-Palooza Screenwriting Competition, which will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 6:30pm at RCTV. During Script-A-Palooza, participating screenwriters that have entered a ten-page (or less) short film script (or excerpt from a feature script) will have their entries read by trained actors in front of a live audience. Attending audience members will then receive a ballot and vote for their favorite screenplay to determine the “Script-a-Palooza Screenplay of the Year” winner. The winner wins full bragging rights until next year, and your screenplay will be read in front of eager producers looking for a film to produce over the summer. This is a great a way to introduce your writing to producers, actors, and crew with whom you may wish to collaborate to produce a finished film.
