Attention all IT - Cablers. . . . Bicsi is looking for some volunteers to help steer the program for the next 3 - 5 years. . . BICSI Cabling Installation JTA BICSI will be conducting a Job Task Analysis (JTA) for the BICSI Information Technology Systems (ITS) Cabling Installation Program. A two-day session for each of the three levels will be held November 4-9, 2013, at BICSI World Headquarters located in Tampa, Florida. We are looking for a select group of experts in their field with a minimum of three years of experience in one of the following: Copper Installation Fiber Installation Technician You do not have to have a BICSI credential to qualify. The panelists will be required to work in a small group setting and be able to articulate their job roles and tasks. The result of the JTA will be the foundation for the BICSI ITS Cabling Installation Program for the next three-to-five years. BICSI will use the blueprint to create reference materials, curriculum and exam questions. In addition to the minimum of three years of experience in the respective ITS Cabling Installation field, panelists must be: Highly skilled in their job. Employed full-time. An effective communicator (the session is of a brainstorming nature). A team player. Committed to the whole two-day discussion. BICSI is a nonprofit ITS industry professional organization relying on significant volunteer support. Should you decide to volunteer your time and expertise to this program, BICSI will provide all panelists with travel, lodging, and food accommodations.
