Audi a6 estate. £800 or swap for small van. Bought originally to run for a month while I bought a new car after opting out of my company car. I liked it that much I ended up driving it for 16 months. It has been a great car that taken me all over the country without letting me down. drives really smooth with its automatic box and cruse control. The. A6 is a big car with plenty of room for family life, the boot is huge its bigger than an Astra van when the seats are down. There is a plastic removable boot liner and a mesh divider that pulls up from the seat which is ideal if you have dogs. The car has a Parrot system fitted that you can pair you fone or iPod with to play music through the stereo or use as a hands free phone. It also has an SD slot for music. Last year I had a new water pump and cam belt fitted and a couple of new tires. I also had an exhaust front pipe and new discs and pads front and back. I bought the car from the second owner who used the car as his company car, it has now covered 180,000 miles and is still going strong. Doesnt smoke. No rust but bodywork does have some age related scratches and scuffs. There is also a couple of chips in the windscreen but it goes through the MOT. The car comes with a roof rack which comes in handy. There are a couple of things that need sorting that I havent had time to fix, the first being an intermittent fault on the front wipers, sometimes the go really slow then stop other times they work fine, its probably the motor getting tired, they rant expensive to replace. The second is the front brake pads have started to rattle, they are new pads I have been told the grease may have dried or been washed out. It doesnt effect the breaks function but it needs seeing to. Its ready for a service too. Taxed until end of this month and tested till end of Feb. I have a new car now so the Audi is ready to go. I would also consider a swap with a swb low roof transit or a vivaro van.
