August 14, 2013 (Wednesday) Gospel: Mt 18:15–20 Jesus said to his disciples, “If your brother or sister has sinned against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are in private, and if he listens to you, you have won your brother. If you are not listened to, take with you one or two others so that the case may be decided by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he still refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembled Church. But if he does not listen to the Church, then regard such a one as a pagan or a publican. “I say to you: whatever you bind on earth, heaven will keep bound; and whatever you unbind on earth, heaven will keep unbound. “In like manner, I say to you: if on earth two of you are united in asking for anything, it will be granted to you by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered in my Name, I am there among them.” Reflection: “Jesus said to his disciples, “If your brother or sister has sinned against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are in private, and if he listens to you, you have won your brother.” This is the right way of dealing or correcting the mistakes of our brother. Sometimes, we disregard this one. We keep on judging our brother without listening the real cause and the reason why it happened. Sometimes, we become evil unto them. In my own experience, I was judged up to the point that they did not listen first my side if ever I have sinned or committed a sin unto them. I doubt so much why it was so happened. I was not confronted personally about the matter many times, and having been corrected by them though they just told me on the day of their judgement a few times. It was so injustice. Injustice that the exact word in which I solicited from the mouth of my friend priests and lays that I heard when they commented about the issue. I do not know how to react and how to deal. Besides I offered it the Almighty who knows everything, the truth of everything. Now, I am not angry to the person but to what was happened. God knows my heart.
