A draw will result in a loss of three points. Pakistan can move as high as third with a clean sweep, and can fall no further than sixth behind fifth-place India and ahead of New Zealand in seventh spot. Australia reclaimed the No.1 Test ranking on May 1 after the annual ICC rankings update, lifting Clarke’s chargers to the Test summit for the first time since August 2009. The time at the top was brief, with South Africa reclaiming the No.1 spot after a 1-0 series away win over Sri Lanka in July. The rankings are based on a rolling, weighted four-year cycle and are updated after each series.
